Case Study 7: Reducing Employee Lateness with Time Tracking.

About the client

An instrumentation company with over 80 office staff.

Task

The employer comes to work at 12:00 AM, while the working day begins at 9:30 AM. Employees, knowing this pattern, began to shorten their working hours and arrive 20-30 minutes before their bosses showed up. One day, the manager came to work earlier than usual and found out that half of the team was not there. In addition, the manager could not go on vacation for a long time, for fear of leaving his employees unattended.

Process

The manager installed the INSIDER system and began recording the arrival and departure times of employees. It also turned out that some employees take smoking breaks too often and are distracted from their tasks.

Result

The company stopped losing about $2,850 per month on salaries for employees who did not work enough, and the manager can now safely go on vacation and know that his employees are under supervision.
