Task
The head of the design institute contacted us. He noticed that over the past couple of months, printing costs have been significantly higher than usual. Conversations with employees did not lead to anything, so we were faced with the task of finding out why this was happening and eliminating the cause.
Process
We installed INSIDER on all computers that were connected to printers. Thanks to the analysis of the programs used, it became clear that the equipment was used not only for work purposes, but also for printing personal documents, coursework and diploma papers.
Result
The reports received provided evidence of misuse of printers. Employees stopped using equipment for personal purposes, and printing costs fell to normal levels.
